Hello! As this paper and class comes to an end, I am glad to say goodbye! Not that I did not enjoy this term, I just had a lot going on. I am sure many other people feel the same way with it being the holidays and what not. I am very proud of myself and my classmates! I am proud of my grade and what I have learned this term, however I hope this is my last English or writing class. I am sooo over it. Good luck to everyone!

Hello bloggers! I have found my journey through this class very inspirational. I am at the end of this course and proud of what I have accomplished. I have proven to myself what I can achieve through all of life's obstacles. However, I really do not care for blogging and will not continue after this class unless another class requires me to. I just have a hard time writing to no one. lol.

Hello everyone tuning in this week! It has been a very busy one for me because the whole family has been sick! I am bummed because I had to miss work and fell behind in my classes this week! That is OK though! I will make it up! This week we are working on peer reviews. To tell the truth, I really do like them. Someone Else's advice and input can really make a paper better! Fresh eyes never hurt! I only wish that my paper compared to some of my classmates! Everyone is doing such a great job!

Hello hello! I am not sure what I should talk about this week. I guess I will talk about my research paper. I have waited until the minute to start my first draft (as usual). However, I work better under pressure. I have read the outlines of other classmates and can not wait to read some of the first drafts! Everyone has done such a great job. One that I am especially excited to read is Kathrine's paper on obesity. The subject hits close to home and I hope she changes the minds and views of people who are unaware of the many struggles that go along with obesity. Anyhow, I am going to start working on my paper!

School Dayz
Hello everyone! So far this term has been successful for me! It is hard for me to buckle down and do my school work because of everything else that is going on. I am sure that many other people feel the same way. I know that I am not the only one working and raising a family while trying to succeed in school. I can be difficult at times and some weeks I do not complete everything until the last day. I have always worked better under pressure :) My 7 year old does not bother me too much when I am working on homework, but his 1 year old sister does! She is what makes it hard for me because she does not understand why mommy is not playing with her. I will be able to explain it to her one day, but for now, it is an ongoing struggle. I wish all my classmates the best of luck and I know that we will all succeed!

Hello everyone! In this unit we are discussing plagiarism. It is very important to cite your sources so you give credit to the original author, the person who spent their time on the information. I would be upset if someone used my information without being given credit for it. I find that citing your sources can be difficult but it is necessary. I know that the Professor is there to help if it is needed as long with other helpful advice from the writing center and the Kaplan library. That is where I find help when I am having doubts about citing my sources. Good luck to all with proper citations!

Hello out there! so I have decided to write my paper on sex education. What points do you think I should focus on? two of my main focuses will be on parents and teachers and their responsibility to teach children about sex education. The controversies focus on this problem. Some parents think that sex education should not be taught in school as others disagree. Another problem is what should be taught. What draws the line of what is too much or too less? Are we educating students on sex or are we introducing students to sex? See why I am having a problem deciding on what my paper should focus on? LOL. Any suggestions would be helpful! As to being an online student, I love it! I have attended traditional college and found it to be a hassle. With online classes, I have the freedom to go to school on my schedule. I like not being in a classroom. I am kind of a shy person and get nervous around a lot of people. I feel like I can be more open with my online classmates.
